• The Amcrest NV4116E-A2 16CH NVR has the capacity for a 10TB HDD and supports 16CH (8 Port PoE) Recording & Live View in Up to 8MP/4K Resolution @ Real-Time 30fps. It allows for playback of 8-Channel @1080p(30fps)/4-Channel @4MP(30fps)/2-Channel @4K(30fps). It supports Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, as well as some third-party brand compliant IP cameras.
• The Advanced H.265 compression technology reduces storage space, enabling longer recording times. It compresses video without losing any UltraHD video quality. It also provides intelligent search, playback, and backup functions for ease of use and security.
• The NVR supports AI features from AI IP Cameras, but the availability of these features depends on the camera model. It only supports 2CH AI Cameras at 4K@30fps and does not have built-in AI features.
• The NVR connects to and manages all POE IP cameras on the network through ethernet cables, making it convenient for a home security system.
• It records 8 cameras @ 4K using H.264 with a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps. By changing default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera, it can record 8 cameras @ 4K for maximum optimization.
• This NVR is a 16CH NVR with 8CH PoE Ports and a 1TB hard drive. For adding additional PoE cameras, an additional PoE switch is required (Recommended Amcrest Switch ASIN B0751K65V5).
• The NVR needs a hard-wired connection to the router for operation. It supports all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras and includes a USB backup feature.
