Amcrest's NV4108E-HS NVR can support hard drives up to 6 Terabytes. It has 8CH recording, playback, and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at real-time 30fps. It is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, as well as some third-party brand compliant IP cameras.
Advanced H.265 compression technology helps save on storage space without sacrificing UltraHD video quality. It also includes intelligent search, playback, and backup functions for enhanced ease of use and security, such as motion detection event and exact search functions accurate to one second.
The device can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264 with a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps. By changing the default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera, it can record 7 cameras at 4K for maximum optimization. It comes with extras such as a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide.
The setup is plug and play, easy to configure, access, and control. You can instantly access live viewing and playback by scanning the QR code on the PoE NVR from the "Amcrest View" app. The NVR connects to and manages all the POE IP cameras on your network directly through their ethernet cables, providing ultimate ease and convenience for a home security system.
