The Amcrest NV4108E-A2 8CH POE NVR supports up to 10TB hard drives and has 8CH recording and live view capability at up to 8MP/4K resolution with a real-time 30fps. It can playback 8 channels at 1080p (30fps), 4 channels at 4MP (30fps), and 2 channels at 4K (30fps). It is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, as well as some third-party brand IP cameras.
The advanced H.265 compression technology reduces storage space and allows for longer recording times without sacrificing video quality. It also has intelligent search, playback, and backup functions that enhance ease of use and security, including motion detection events and accurate one-second search functions.
AI features are supported when using AI IP cameras, but only 2CH AI cameras at 4K@30fps are supported. The NVR does not have built-in AI features. It directly connects to and manages all POE IP cameras on the network through ethernet cables.
It has a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps and can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. By changing the default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera, it can record 8 cameras at 4K with maximum optimization. The package includes a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide.
For peace of mind, it also includes a USB backup feature. The system is CE & FCC certified with UL compliant power supplies. It comes with a full year warranty and US support offered exclusively by Amcrest.
